WebSolvents just got sexier!
You may have noticed that our website looks a little different now. We’ve been working on this bad boy for quite some time, and finally got everything polished and up and running. Welcome to the new look of WebSolvents!
We’ve also done away with out old forum system, and switched to this wonderful new blog which we hope you will all enjoy. Be sure to tune in here for the latest updates regarding your hosting accounts, announcements, etc, etc. You can also subscribe to the blog’s update feed by clicking the the RSS Feed link at the bottom of this page.
If you encounter any quirks or bugs with the new site, please do not hesitate to shoot us an email or support ticket and let us know so we can get it fixed ASAP.

PHP 5 has now been configured to run as the default PHP application on our servers. We encourage you to embrace PHP5 as the new standard, however, if you would like to continue using PHP4 on your account, simply add the following line to your .htaccess file located in public_html (or create one if one does not already exist):
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php4 .php

Dear Customers,
On Monday, June 9th, WebSolvents.com will be making PHP5 the default PHP environment on all of our accounts. PHP4 is becoming very outdated, and is no longer developed or supported.
After the switch, PHP4 will still be available by using the AddHandler in .htaccess (we will post instructions for this at the time). However, we strongly encourage all of our customers to begin using PHP5 as PHP4 will eventually become obsolete. Some older applications may have issues with PHP5 and need to continue running on PHP4.

Colo4Dallas will perform planned maintenance on the following date and time. Expected service impact is noted below but actual impact may vary.
Date/Time: 04:00 CDT - 04:30 CST Monday, May 05, 2008
Details: Colo4Dallas will be performing emergency maintenance on one of our border routers that will require a reload of the router.? Customers can expect brief periods of suboptimal routing as routing tables reconverge.
